The G-miniprint is a smaller version of the popular Genoportrait. It is a photograph-sized image that we offer in three designs: an acrylic plate with an unobtrusive acrylic stand, a self-standing G-miniprint of acrylic massif, or a G-miniprint in alu-bond form (extremely thin acrylic plate coated with aluminium) with a wide acrylic stand. We make G-miniprint from the genetic information contained in DNA. Each DNA contains several highly variable parts that are unique to each person. We can read these so-called genetic markers from DNA, and in your G-miniprint you'll see them as color lines.
G-miniprint DUO is tri-colored – each person has their genetic markers depicted in a different color, then the third color is their common markers. Depending on the representation of each color, you can tell how genetically similar the individuals depicted are. The color of both the lines and the background is selected by the recipient himself (the choices are the variations listed in the color sammpler on the top bar). But they make the final color choice after they recieve a color sampler that we send by mail along with the DNA sampling kit.
Gifted person doesn't have to understand genetics to know G-miniprint. With G-miniprint, they receive a certificate from us with a short explanation, marker values, and a sketch of their location in G-miniprint. The certificate will therefore provide your loved one with all necessary information about his G-miniprint.
The G-miniprint comes in a gift box wrapped in bubble wrap.
We offer 2 gift voucher options:
- e-mail - we send a gift certificate in electronic form to an e-mail address within 24 hours of ordering it and then you print it yourself. Your beneficiary can use it at any time after a telephone or e-mail arrangement with us, and in turn we will send them a collection kit (sampling brushes + test tubes + sampling instructions) and a color sampler for color selection.
- gift package - We send the printed gift voucher to the correspondence address in the gift box, along with the collection kit (sampling brushes + sampling instructions + sampling instructions) and color sampler for color selection. To apply, just send the samples back to our lab.
