The JUNIOR genoscope is a genetic test that helps parents steer their child towards those interests and activities that are natural to them, in which they will excel and will probably enjoy them. The purpose of this test is to determine the natural talent of your children so that you can work with them in a way that makes them happy.
It is possible to learn from it:
Whether your child is naturally more of an endurance or a sprinter
Whether they have an innate absolute musical ear (and related, e.g., talent for foreign languages)
Whether they own genes for physical fitness
Whether they have an increased risk of developing addictions (it can then be turned into a positive direction, e.g. on sport, reading, interests...)
What is his or her natural circadian rhythm (how to schedule his activities)
The test is based on the latest scientific knowledge about genes involved in sports performance, musical hearing, or circadian rhythm. Depending on the variation in those genes, whether the child is more of an endurance or a sprinter, whether he has musical talent, or whether he is more of an early riser or an night owl. For example, if a child is not as efficient athlete as his or her peers, believe that the absence of so-called climbing genes may be to blame. But they may have an innate musical talent that is very hard to detect in young children. Meanwhile, children with absolute musical hearing excel not only in music, but also in foreign languages, for example. So it would be a shame not to reveal an innate absolute musical ear, because unless it develops from their early childhoot, it will fades out during childhood.

What happens after you order a gift voucher?
Once we have received your order, we will send you either an electronic version of the gift voucher, to download and print (within 24 hours), or send a gift package with a gift voucher and a DNA collection kit (a fine little brush for the collection of cells from the inner cheek+ instructions for collection) by post to your correspondence address. DNA collection (the genetic information from which we “read” the talents) is done from the cells of the mucous membrane of the mouth, and the sample is taken from the children by their parents. Removal is quick, easy, safe and painless. Babies bear it well, too, so there is nothing to worry about.
To apply an electronic gift voucher you need to contact us by email or phone, to apply a gift voucher in a gift package you just need to send the samples back to the Genomac laboratories. Within 4 weeks of receiving the samples, we send out a complete result protocol.
