Paternity tests are genetic tests in which 16 selected sections of DNA obtained from a mouth swab are analysed and then compared between test subjects (a sample of the alleged father, child or mother). In this way, we determine the probability of paternity (more about the principle of paternity testing).
The DNA paternity test with identity verification is for when you are considering a future expert opinion. It is a test with personal DNA sampling, which requires a visit to our company in Prague 6. The sampling is done with a fine brush, it is painless, safe and fast. Our employee present at the collection will also verify the identity of the tested persons (valid ID documents, right thumbprinting for adults, photography). You must not drink, eat, smoke or rinse your mouth for at least one hour before the collection. This whole procedure (your visit to us) takes approximately 45 minutes. We provide the results within 5 working days. Tested persons can be FATHER and CHILD or FATHER, CHILD and MOTHER, or for an additional fee of 3000,- CZK another person (2nd CHILD or another alleged FATHER). We always test two independent samples of each person for maximum reliability of the results.
The result of the paternity test contains identifying information (passport number, sample numbers, etc.), a listing of the DNA values of the tested sections and a verbal evaluation of the test result, including the probability with which paternity is confirmed or excluded.
